Shanti Memorial College of Education follows a set of academic, administrative, and disciplinary rules to maintain a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment. All B.Ed. students are expected to follow the rules prescribed by the College, affiliating University, NCTE, and other competent authorities.
- Attendance: Students must maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by the NCTE and the affiliating university for both theory and practical classes.
- Punctuality: Students are expected to attend classes, seminars, workshops, examinations, and other academic activities on time.
- Discipline: Students must maintain discipline and respectful behaviour within the college campus and during all academic activities.
- Academic Responsibility: Students must complete assignments, teaching practice, projects, records, and other academic work within the prescribed deadlines.
- Teaching Practice: Students must participate sincerely in school internship, practice teaching, lesson planning, and other field-based activities as directed by the college.
- Examinations: Students must follow all examination rules and instructions issued by the college and affiliating university.
- Identity Card: Students must carry their valid college identity card while on the college campus and during official academic activities.
- Campus Conduct: Students must maintain cleanliness and take proper care of college property, classrooms, library, laboratories, and other facilities.
- Prohibited Activities: Ragging, harassment, violence, misconduct, damage to property, and any unlawful activity are strictly prohibited.
- Leave: Students must obtain prior permission from the concerned authority for absence from classes, practical work, internship, or other compulsory activities.
- Dress Code: Students are expected to maintain a neat, decent, and appropriate dress code suitable for a professional teacher-training institution.
- Compliance: All students are required to follow the rules, regulations, circulars, and instructions issued by the College, affiliating University, NCTE, and other competent authorities.
